We aim to lead Africa in
reliable biodiesel production while supporting our communities

Toto C and E, founded in 2023 by Toto Julius Mbenyana and Andre Labuschagne, develops petrochemical and energy solutions for South Africa. The company now focuses on producing commercial-scale biodiesel to support the country's energy stability. Backed by national biodiesel regulations and incentives, Toto C and E aims to grow sustainable fuel production and strengthen local energy supply.

Our Speciality

Objectives
Over the next five years, the company will produce 100 tons per day of used cooking oil biodiesel, with production scaling to more than 1 000 tons per day within ten years. Its goal is to grow and incentivize used oil collection while driving rapid township economic development, boosting employment, and reducing poverty.
Strategic Alliance
Toto C and E works with key partners across industry, finance, research, and community development. These include UJ for R&D, the NEF for funding and growth support, and Petro-SA, Sasol’s Supplier Development Programme, BP, and Total for B2B opportunities, incubation, and investment. The company also collaborates with leading turnkey biodiesel plant suppliers such as Yannam, Green Diesel, and Zhauns, while partnering with township communities through focused social investment.
Products
We produce used cooking oil biodiesel and will soon expand into petrol and diesel additives, bio-ethanol, and lubricants. We also plan to supply a wider range of imported petrochemicals to support South Africa’s growing industrial and energy needs.
